Enchanted Forest: An average man, with a daughter and a magic hat. Then, a madman with no daughter and no magic hat.

Storybrooke, Maine: A madman, a recluse who lives in a huge house on a hill on the edge of town. He makes hats, drinks tea, draws maps, and lives there alone. He dreams of the day when he'll be able to go home again.
